When NMSU Student Records Office receives an apostille request, the staff will print the requested document(s), procure the signature of the University Registrar, and notarize the document. The Apostille process does take time, both to produce the original document and for you to send and receive your documents from the State of New Mexico. Apostilles are most often needed by students who are working outside the United States of America and international students. To resolve a financial hold on your transcript, you will need to contact University Accounts Receivable (UAR).Īn Apostille is confirmation that a document is authentic. If the hold has not been resolved within five (5) business days, the pending transcript order will be cancelled and another request will have to be submitted after the hold is resolved.
